Hello Friends, blog readers and supporters!
I am running the 113th Boston Marathon for the Bottom Line Inc. Charity. Bottom Line's mission is to help mentor low-income and first generational students through the application process, graduation and to go far in life.
I am thrilled to be running for such a worthy organization. I mentioned during the application process, "Life is Tricky and Support is a Great Thing." It's as simple as that.
I want to help students achieve their dreams to GO FAR IN LIFE. We all know the importance of higher education - 9 out of 10 new jobs in the United States require a post-secondary education. Think about your own educational experience, the lessons that you learned, the friendships, the knowledge, the opportunities, the doors that opened that you didn't realize existed. Since my graduation from UMass Amherst, I realize I've gained so much and I want to award the same opportunities to other Massachusetts students through Bottom Line.
I will be working hard over the next five months with training, rest and running, but most importantly to reach my fundraising goal. Any donation is very much appreciated by me and the Bottom Line Inc. Please visit my webpage often to check my progress and for more information about upcoming fundraising events around the state. Together, we can raise the necessary funds to help Bottom Line achieve their mission for the young students of Boston and Worcester.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
