Hello readers,
Today was not a good day. My long run was good. We had a few new runners, one nice woman offered me advice about the marathon and goals.
My Goals
1. Finish
2. Finish within 4 hours and 40 minutes
3. Finish under 4 hours!
Now I might reevaluate the 2nd goal because I'm throwing that out without much research. No disappoint will be had if I have three goals.
Anyway, We all sprinted for the last 2 miles to our tailgating reward. The Greater Framingham Running Club (GFRC) has a traditional Run Of Your Turkey tailgating event on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I'm not sure if I ate the wrong things, but I have a feeling that it was a combination for my lack of sleep.
Last night, I adventured out to Boston with Joe to check out venues for my Boston fundraiser. It was a successful trip, but I didn't arrive home until 2am. I knew I would regret it in the morning, but I didn't realize the feeling would last all day long! Note to self, Marathon training requires 7plus hours of sleep. It's early in the process so I'm allowed to make those mistakes and live young and irresponsibly!
Currently I am enjoying a glass of wine. I know, I know, what happened to the pledge? Well, I stuck to it last night. The pledge according to the points was made in reflection of financial status and training schedule. I already bought this bottle of wine weeks ago and I'm not running tomorrow! And that's how my pledge will continue over the months. I am weak, but also reasonable!

DO NOT DISS the Coors Light ;)
hahaa I'm not sure which 'Katie' advised me not to DISS coors light.
I am not dissing the silver bullet. It's my favorite bad beer. It reminds me of Sophomore Year - the glorious year in Johnson.
